About Me

IMG_3327.jpg

As a kid, watching Disney movies throughout the years, we believe that everyone needs a happy ending story, but until now. I realize that not all levels have happy endings at the end. Every storytelling will have their happy stories about it that haven't happened to them yet. They just don't know it just yet. It will take time.

I was born in San Francisco, California but raised in Daly City. I had a few activities throughout my childhood, such as playing the piano, dancing hip hop, playing with LEGO, playing video games with education in it, or Nintendo games. In high school, I learned art and ceramics. I love being creative with colors and sketching at times. Creating ceramics with my hands and getting messy to create a mug or tombstone. Making a ceramic mug or mini vase was my struggle.

When I discovered UX/UI, I didn't realize that it would change my life and how I see smart applications works. My experience through Thinkful learned every day was practicing what is a design thinking process so I improve my skills of knowledge of the process to understand research, analysis, making user stories and user flows.

By practicing every day of understanding all the design thinking processes, I got used to the routine. I  improved my skills and I learn a little bit while repeatedly trying to know the user flow, analysis and working on Figma to gain more experience in the structure. While building the wireframes and prototypes I realize it’s like a puzzle putting it all together to see a final product in hand. It was a good experience to improve my skills that I need to know to get ready for the real world.

It's terrific to empathize, understand others and express myself creatively as a designer.  I can show others my personality and my style of design.  I can create unique ideas to apply to the prototype. I'm grateful to found this field and excited to see what will come next on my journey as UX/UI.

I know in the long run it will take time to get used to all the skills I learned from these past five months. By practicing almost every day will improve my skills and on my time to improve the other apps I created throughout the program. I would go back to all the modules I finished and review all the lessons I learned to remember all the knowledge and skills to improve them.
